With 3 games left in the regular season there is just 1 seed up for grabs for the playoffs.  The Red Sox and Royals have clinched the first and second seeds and the Tigers and Phillies are set at the 7 and 8 seeds.  So in the first round the Red Sox will take on the Phillies and the Royals will take on the Tigers.  While the Brewers can still catch the A's in points by winning their last game the A's have the tie breaker as they won the season series with the Brewers 3-1.  So the A's are locked in as the 5th seed and the Brewers are the 6th seed.  Those teams will wait it out to see who they play as the Orioles are currently 2pts behind the Dodgers but have 2 games left to play.  If the Orioles and Dodgers finish tied the Orioles would win the tie breaker based on their better Runs Against for the season (Orioles and Dodgers tied their season series 2-2).  So the Orioles just need to win one of their last two games to capture the 3rd seed.
